RESEALED BENCHES

Three members of FORRC (David D., Denise D. and Dan D) spent about five hours resealing the benches on Contemplative Trail. They applied two coats of polyurethane to the three older benches and one generous coat of penofen to the two newer ones. You can definitely tell the older from the newer benches in the photos. The two benches recently replaced lasted about seventeen years and we believe preserving the benches in this manner has significantly increased their lives and will continue to do so as long as they can be treated every one to two years.
