The East Fork Sand Canyon Trail needs one more day of work to be completed.  The Friends of Red Rock Canyon and Manitou Springs Trail Cats started building this 3/4 mile new trail in April and May.  The City has hired a contractor to continue the work mechanically.  It is a great trail in the south west part of the park, with intimate trees and great views.

Red Rock Canyon needs a lot of work to repair trail damage caused by the May rains.  So we will also be doing work improving the Intemann and Contemplative trails.  There is  a lot to do, so invite a friend along.

As with all Manitou Cats trail projects we work from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM  and then go out for a free beer and after work party.
